Groups

Group Therapy offers a powerful tool in treatment: interactions with others in addition to a therapist. Often these groups can provide unique or complementary work for individual therapy. Below are the groups being run or currently forming.

Current Groups

Dungeons and Dragons Group – This group uses the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons to aid individuals in addressing their concerns in a safe and fun way. Through questing and working together with their party, individuals will be able to experiment with new ways of being and interacting and learn from others. This group is a good fit for those struggling with social barriers and concerns, anxiety, and other issues such as depression or isolation. No experience with tabletop gaming is necessary, and all materials will be provided.

KORU Basic Mindfulness – This group consists of four sessions and teaches basic mindfulness skills. Each session teaches different skills that build upon each other and reinforce practice of mindfulness.
